The June 27, 2023 PWFA rules passed and led to regulations issued by the EEOC which will go into effect sixty calendar days from April 19, 2024. It requires employers to provide “reasonable accommodations” to qualified employees with limitations related to pregnancy & childbirth, unless said accommodation causes the employer an “undue hardship.” Request or reference our compliance release for guidance and details.
